To provide the most user-friendly, simple, and transparent copy trading experience, CoinW Futures Copy Trading now supports two modes: Smart and Classic. Users can choose the method that best suits their risk preferences and investment strategies to participate.
Smart Copy Trading
What is Smart Futures Copy Trading?
Smart Proportional Copy Trading is a model that opens and closes positions whose sizes are of the same proportion of their account balance as their lead trader.
This ensures that the risk of each trade for the user is consistent with that of the lead trader. For example, if the lead trader's account has an available balance of 1,000 USDT and they invest 100 USDT as margin for a trade, the fund proportion for that order is 10%. If the user has an available balance of 100 USDT, then the copy trade will only invest 100 * 10% = 10 USDT as margin.
In this Smart Futures Copy Trading model, users can complete the copy trading setup in just 2 steps. After selecting their preferred lead trader, just enter the investment amount (minimum 20 USDT) and then click the "Save" button to complete the entire setup. This easy setup lowers the entry barrier for futures copy trading, allowing novice users to participate in futures copy trading and earn profits.
What are the advantages of Smart Proportional Copy Trading?
a. Users can set up their copy trades with just one click, by simply entering the investment amount. There’s no need to set complex parameters, making the process both easy and efficient.
b. By using the same fund proportion for both the lead trader and the user, the risk and return ratios of their accounts remain aligned. This helps prevent the user’s account from being prematurely liquidated due to an improperly set investment amount.
c. In addition, users automatically mirror the lead trader’s fund allocation strategy, which helps balance potential profits and risks. For example, if a lead trader allocates 1% of their funds to a particular order, it suggests a lower level of confidence in that trade. When the user uses the same 1% allocation, the risk is minimized. On the other hand, if the lead trader allocates 50% to an order, this indicates high confidence in its profitability. Mirroring this same proportion allows the user to capitalize on the higher return potential without missing out.
